The milestone story is less about a list of awards and more about what each step made possible: stronger crews, broader services, better training, and long client relationships.
1971 to today

- 1971
Robert Underwood returns from military service, works as a landscape laborer, and studies plants at night.
01 - Early years
Bob borrowed a pickup truck and $1,000 from his mother to start AAA Landscape. Rick joined six months later, bringing another pickup.
02 - 1976
AAA Landscape opens its first one-room office and buys its first company truck.
03 - 1978
The company expands from Tucson into the Phoenix market.
04 - 1981
AAA purchases a Phoenix nursery and begins growing plants from seed.
05 - 1985
Municipal work and a general engineering license broaden what the team can build.
06 - 1990s
AAA develops into a full-service landscape company with construction and management teams.
07 - Today
Phoenix and Tucson teams continue the original promise: beautify the world and nurture long-term results.
